As the cruise season is closing, Bodrum Cruise Port welcomed 2 cruise ships on October 16th; Mein Schiff 4 from the fleet of TUI cruises and Le Laperouse from the fleet of Compagnie du Ponant. Welcoming over 2900 passengers, Bodrum had a busy day.
This was the second call of the Mein Schiff 4 this year. Bringing 2740 international - mostly German - passengers, Mein Schiff 4 completed its seamless operations and continued its itinerary to Santorini at the end of the day.
Whereas, it was the first call of the luxury segment Le Laperouse. As per customary tradition, the captain of the ship was given a Welcome Plaque by Gonca Uygun, the Port Manager. The ship then went on to Mykonos after a full day of activities in the city.
Guests enjoyed the luxury destination of Bodrum with various activities. Some visited Antique Theater, Myndos Gate and wind mills while others sailed with a Goulet towards the famous Mausoleum. As well, some specialty excursions were available including cooking class at a local vineyard and jeep safari.
